Over 30 years in the business of reconstructing machine tools and building special-purpose machines.

1986

Founded by Louis BALEYDIER, Sud Ouest Système initially comprised a multidisciplinary team of 12 experts whose goal was to build a business that specialised in the refurbishment of large-scale metal removal tools.

1989

Buildings were extended with the construction of an assembly workshop covering 300 m².

The workforce comprised 15 employees and turnover amounted to approximately €1.2 million.

1997

Growing order volumes meant that the engineering department needed to be extended by 160 m².

2001

Jean Luc Baleydier took over the business founded by his father.

2004

Launch of the special-purpose machine business: Sud Ouest Système’s skillsets and know-how meant that the success of the business was assured. The team had grown to 25 employees and turnover was approximately €4 million.

2007

New mechanical and electrical assembly workshops were built, covering 370 m².

2014

Awarded the ISO 9001:2008 certification.

2017

Awarded the ISO 9001:2015 certification.

Engineering workshops and offices were extended.

Today, Sud Ouest Système is a simplified joint-stock company with a share capital of €400,000, has a turnover of approximately €7 million euros and employs 34 people.
